Ministry of Information & Communication Minister visited the Dzongkhag Administration, Trashigang |

The minister of Information and Communication, Lyonpo Nandalal Rai arrived the Dzongkhag Administration, Trashigang in the afternoon of 15th February, his Excellency was received by the Dasho Dzongda,Dasho Dzongrab,Dasho Drangpon,Dasho Drangrab,Officer in Command, Senior Dzongkag Sector Heads, Regional heads, and other businessmen in front of the Royal Guest house .
On the way to S/Jongkhar- Trashigang , the minister visited the air port site at Yonphula, which is about a 32 kms away from the Trashigang Dzongkhag high way.
The next day, his Excellency made a tour to the another feasible air port site to the Bartsham,and returned in the afternoon where he met with the Government Officials, local leaders and the general public in the DYT hall.
The minister mentioned that although both the sites were very much feasible for the domestic airport, however the minister emphasized that construction of airport at Bartsham would drain huge amount of the budget and also would take few couples of years to complete thereby meaning that the most likely feasible would be at the Yonphula where there would require only minor repairing to the exiting one.
The minister left for Pema Gatshel Dzongkhag in the morning of 17th Feb with his team from the ministry and was then seen off from the Royal Guest house by the Government Officials.
