The two days, 19^th Dzongkhag Annual Education conference which began on 23^rd march concluded yesterday.

The Dzongkhag Education Sector, met with 63 principals from different institutional level ranging from community pry. School to the Higher Secondary Schools under the Dzongkhag Administration, Trashigang.

Dasho Dzongdag graced the ceremony where he also reminded the forum on the following:

1. Review of 2009 performance based on the resolutions set at the beginning of the year.
2. Achievements and shortcomings of the educational goals based on 2009 performance and the need for the future actions.
3. Plan class XI promotion and the placement projection.

Dasho also highlighted on working and developing strategies to achieve 100% primary school enrolment, need to strengthen Driglam Namzha and promotion of Dzongkha in both speaking and writing etc.

The forum discussed the issues on transfers of teacher with no replacement from the ministry, unplanned transfers of teachers in the middle of the academic year and teachers deployed without matching the requisition.

The principal, Rangjung HSS announced the floor about the introduction of Continuing Education programme at Rangjung HSS from this academic year, 2010.

In relation the HR matters, Dzongkhag HRO encouraged the floor about the online processing of the Audit Clearance.
