WELCOME TO THE DZONGKHAG WEBSITE,TRASHIGANG

Today the world is growing with the ICT (Information, Communication & Technology), so many things are made possible with just a click of the mouse in front of you.

The main motto of introducing the Dzongkhag Website is to share the information amongst the 20 Dzongkhags and to update the information going in different Dzongkhags and also with the national level too. So far the ICT services like internet has reach only to the Dzongkhag level, however there is a plan/ works are going on so that it also reaches to the Geog level in the near future. After the services are fully put into, every works would be made easier by many folds. Thus, we would like to keep ourselves informed nation wide which ultimately meets the Gross National Happiness (GNH), which is the very keynote of our beloved monarch in every addresses that he make to his people.

Announcements pertaining to the Dzongkhag can be announced in the website like vacancy, tender, quotation etc

Events/festivals for the Dzongkhag can be announced and publish through our website

Dzongkhag profile and the relevant photograph and images under the Dzongkhag can be posted, so that every individual feels that they are there

News and reports that happen/occur within the Dzongkhag will be published periodically

In fact so many people may not have reached the remote Dzongkhags like Trashigang, so through our website we hope we will keep them informed with all sort of information that we could find now and hereafter.

Never the less, I would like to acknowledge the members of Department of Information Technology (DIT) for their timely support in making our Dzongkhag website live and independent. Without their hands put together, it would not have been possible to put every thing to the present color.
